The next forest festival will be held from February 3 to 5 2012. It will feature concerts, forest walks, environmental workshops and childrens' activities. Camping is available along the creek under the majestic Quamby Bluff. Jackeys Marsh Forest Festival

The Tasmanian Craft Fair is held on 4th to 7th November 2011. It featrues local in international arts and crafts . Forest Walks Lodge is located within easy driving distance of the craft fair venues. After the successful Spring Equinox retreat Jane Anderson of Moon and Earth Connections will be leading an autumn retreat from 2nd to 4th March 2012. For further information contact Jane via her web site.

From 10 to 12 March 2012 textile artist Ralf Haertel and native plant dye specialist James Deghand will conduct textile dying workshops using natural plant dyes. The 2012 workshop will focus on indigo but participants will also get the opportunity to use other dyes and dye their own materials for later use. A variety of accommodation options are available from camping to delux lodge accommodation.

An association with the Launceston gallery Arts Alive has led to the creation of an outdoor gallery space in the forest at Forest Walks Lodge. Environmental art was installed here as part of the Jackeys Marsh Forest Festival in 2010. Some of the artwork will remain as a permanent feature on the Fern Gully Walk The space is also available for other artists with an interest in an outdoor venue for their art. A number of artists have been inspired to create unique pieces in this beautiful place.
